2 years ago we were here. We are here again the 2nd time. It was a much dreaded one cos it falls in the fasting month. Fortunately, all fasting needs were met while I was there. Pre-arranged by the committee members with the staff there. I cant believe it that I was homesick this time!!  Above all.....we had great fun and time over there......

Cousins' Weddings

It was a mad rush for both of us. His cousin got married and so was mine. Got another invitation from FIL's closest friend's daughter wedding. Thus that makes 3 weddings in a day. As dh was appointed as bestman cum driver to my cousin, we definitely couldnt be there to help on both days at his cousin's wedding. So we drop by on sat to 'show face' at both his aunt plc and his dad's friend's daughter wedding 
Finally, congratulations to the following couples for tying the knot.
Couple 1 : Jasni & Salamiah (dh's cousin)
Couple 2 : Rosman (my cousin) & Siti Erdila (my friend)
Couple 3 : Lela *something....forgotten the name* & husband

It was dh's cousin engagement. Cousin from the MIL's side, 2nd to get hitched right after us. My 1st time attending an engagement in a kampung across the causeway. Interesting though not much of a difference back in Singapore. The weather was scorching hot and we got all wet, sweaty and restless. Almost gave in to the heat stroke - Thank GOD! It didnt happened or I'd cause chaos in the midst of the streaming guests and relatives. The best part about the event was - I was grabbed as a last minute photographer. Responsible for capturing the memorable day with 4 cameras + 1 camera phone.  I hope I did a great job though it was a lil sudden.

Gathering with ex-colleagues

It's been sooooo long since we last met after Yvonne & Steph left the company. The only means of communication we had to keep in touch were - msn & sms. Boy! They've changed a lot. Steph is much much more chubbier while Yvonne is glittering with pride. She's 12 weeks pregnant!! OMG! Congrats to you dear friend. Your wish has come true....we're happy for you.

Bangkok Shopping Trip : 29 July 2005 to 2 Aug 2005

Our 2nd honeymoon to mark our 2nd wedding anniversary. This time to Bangkok, Thailand. Thank you dear hubby for the memorable trip.
Especially if its in the name of "retail therapy". I just love every moment of it. It's a bonus when the other half shared the same passion - shopping!! We've been longing to spend our vacation there but was often hesitant. Through friends and sibling who've been there couple of times, it heightened our excitement even more. Yes this is the trip! Finally a date was set and nothing should come in the way now....we're determined to make it happen - by hook or by crook!
We spent days doing research and collating useful information on issues like HALAL eating establishments, checked for verification from various reliable sources, marked places for great shopping bargains, booked air tix, look up on hotels within the "commercial" vicinity and so on and so forth.....
Phew! It did paid off. We came back smiling. Think nothing of the depleting bank acct. What matters most is that we're satisfied with the buys  Alhamdulillah, we were spared from the ordeal of having to starve ourselves in case we couldnt find any HALAL food establishments. We had Tom Yum Soup as the main course for all meals throughout our stay there and we even had it during breakfast on our last day there. OMG! We just cant get enough of it and it's one of our fav dish too.
The day we were back home, my mom cooked for us - TOM YUM CHICKEN SOUP!!
We'll be back, Bangkok.....that's a PROMISE! Insya-Allah

When I 1st started working for the company, the manpower were only 29 staffs.
1 yr later, we shifted from IP (International Plaza) to SGX Centre, Shenton Way. Nice office with picturesque view of the sea and its surroundings were nice. The staffs grew from 29 to 40 odds staffs to-date.
2yrs later, the company decided that we've to shift. This time to cater to 70 over staffs. That's good news.
The part about shifting which i dreaded very much is the packing & unpacking. Darn! And I'm left to do my packing alone.  So many files. So many garbage. So many soft toys..... *smacks forehead* Guess office is my 2nd home after all....

It was our 2nd gathering after the 1st time we meet up. We had our dinner at Cafe Le Caire @ Al Majlis. Very nice & cosy place. Fine dining. They served food spread ranging from Western to Middle East.
